SMP Treatment

Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the agreement between Your Scalp  (“the Provider”) and the individual receiving Scalp Micropigmentation Treatment (“the Client”). By booking an appointment, the Client agrees to be legally bound by the following Terms.

1. Definitions

1.1 “Treatment” refers to Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) procedures delivered by the Provider.
1.2 “Deposit” refers to the £200 non-refundable amount required to secure a Treatment appointment.
1.3 “Balance” refers to the remaining fee payable after the Deposit, whether per session or in full.
1.4 “Treatment Date” refers to the scheduled date and time of each SMP appointment.
1.5 “Finance Provider” refers to any third-party instalment provider, including but not limited to Klarna.

2. Bookings & Payments

2.1 A £200 Deposit is required on the day of booking to secure any SMP appointment.
2.2 The Deposit is strictly non-refundable, except where cancellation is made by the Provider.
2.3 The Deposit forms part of the total Treatment fee.

Balance Payments

2.4 If payment is made per session, the Balance for that session must be paid in full on the Treatment Date, before the session begins.
2.5 Where the Client chooses to pay in full, payment must be completed no later than 72 hours before the first Treatment Date.

Finance / Klarna (3-month instalments only)

2.6 Finance and instalment options are subject to approval by the Finance Provider.
2.7 Klarna is available only as a 3-month instalment plan at 0% interest.
2.8 For Klarna payments:
(a) The £200 Deposit must still be paid on the day of booking.
(b) Klarna monthly instalments must begin no later than 72 hours before the Treatment Date.
2.9 If Klarna or any finance agreement is declined, cancelled, or fails, the Client must pay the full outstanding amount directly. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the appointment without refund of the Deposit.

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

Client Cancellations

3.1 If the Client cancels at any time, the £200 Deposit is forfeited.
3.2 If cancellation occurs more than 72 hours before the Treatment Date, any Balance paid (excluding the Deposit) shall be refunded.
3.3 If cancellation occurs within 72 hours of the Treatment Date, only the £200 Deposit is lost. Any Balance paid for the cancelled session only shall be refunded. Payments made for previous or completed sessions are non-refundable.

No-Shows

3.4 Failure to attend without notice (“no-show”) results in the automatic loss of the £200 Deposit.
3.5 A new £200 Deposit will be required to book any future appointment following a no-show.

Rescheduling

3.6 Requests to reschedule must be made at least 72 hours before the Treatment Date.
3.7 Rescheduling within 72 hours may be treated as a cancellation and may require a new Deposit.
3.8 Rescheduling is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

4. Treatment Sessions & Results

4.1 SMP typically requires multiple sessions; the number varies by skin type, healing, and desired result.
4.2 Treatment sessions must not exceed 3 weeks between appointments to maintain consistency of results.
4.3 Sessions may exceed 3 weeks only in cases of illness or exceptional circumstances, which must be communicated to the Provider.
4.4 Delaying sessions beyond 3 weeks without valid reason may affect the results and may require an additional session at extra cost.
4.5 The Provider offers no guarantee regarding the number of sessions required, fading rate, longevity, or exact colour retention.
4.6 The Client must follow all aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results.

5. Health & Safety

5.1 The Client must disclose all relevant medical conditions during consultation.
5.2 The Provider may refuse or postpone Treatment if the Client is considered unsuitable, unfit, or if the procedure poses a health risk.
5.3 The Client confirms they are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of Treatment.

6. Lateness Policy

6.1 The Client must arrive on time for all appointments.
6.2 If the Client is more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may need to be shortened.
6.3 If the Client is more than 30 minutes late, the appointment may be cancelled and treated as a no-show, resulting in loss of the Deposit.

7. Exceptional Circumstances Policy

7.1 The Provider may, at its absolute discretion, consider rescheduling or partial refunds in cases of genuine exceptional circumstances, such as:
      • serious illness,
      • hospitalisation,
      • bereavement of an immediate family member.
7.2 Proof must be provided (medical letter, hospital document, bereavement certificate).
7.3 The Provider is under no obligation to grant exceptions.

8. Photography & Media

8.1 Photos and videos may be taken before, during, and after Treatment for clinical records.
8.2 The Provider may use such images for marketing unless the Client opts out in writing.

9. Liability

9.1 The Provider shall not be liable for complications, adverse reactions, or fading related to skin type, lifestyle, or aftercare.
9.2 The Provider is not liable for loss, damage, or injury unless caused by negligence.

10. Data Protection

10.1 Client data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
10.2 Data will not be shared with third parties unless required for legal, clinical, or finance purposes.

11. Governing Law

11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
11.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

4-DAY SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION

SMP Training Course

Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the agreement between Your Scalp Academy (“the Provider”) and the individual enrolling in the SMP Training Course (“the Student”). By booking a course, the Student agrees to be legally bound by the following Terms.

1. Definitions

1.1 “Course” refers to the 4-Day Scalp Micropigmentation training programme delivered by the Provider.
1.2 “Deposit” refers to the non-refundable amount required to secure a place on the Course.
1.3 “Balance” refers to the remaining course fee payable after the Deposit.
1.4 “Start Date” refers to Day 1 of the Course.
1.5 “Finance Provider” refers to any third-party finance or instalment provider, including but not limited to Klarna.

2. Bookings & Payments

2.1 A Deposit is required to secure the Student’s place. The Deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances except where cancellation is made by the Provider.
2.2 The Deposit forms part of the total course fee and shall be deducted from the total amount payable.
2.3 The Balance must be paid no later than 72 hours prior to the Start Date.
2.4 Bookings made within 72 hours of the Start Date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
2.5 The Provider reserves the right to cancel any booking where payment is not received by the required deadline.

Finance / Klarna

2.6 Finance and instalment options are subject to approval by the Finance Provider.
2.7 For Klarna agreements: (a) The Deposit must be paid no later than 7 days prior to the Start Date. (b) Monthly instalments must commence no later than 72 hours prior to the Start Date.
2.8 The Student is responsible for ensuring that any finance agreement is active and in good standing.
2.9 If a finance agreement is declined or terminated, the Student must pay the Course fee directly. Failure to do so will result in removal from the Course without refund.

3. Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers

3.1 If the Student cancels the Course prior to the Start Date, the Deposit is forfeited.
3.2 Any Balance paid (excluding the Deposit) shall be refunded unless cancellation occurs within 72 hours of the Start Date.
3.3 If the Student cancels within 72 hours of the Start Date, fails to attend, or withdraws during the Course, no refund shall be issued.
3.4 Requests to transfer to another Course date must be made at least 7 days prior to the Start Date. Transfers are subject to availability and approval.
3.5 The Provider reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Course due to illness, unforeseen circumstances, or insufficient enrolment. In such cases, the Student may:
(a) Transfer to an alternative date, or
(b) Receive a refund of any Balance paid. The Deposit shall only be refunded if cancellation is made by the Provider.

4. Course Requirements & Attendance

4.1 The Student must be at least 18 years of age.
4.2 The Student must read all required pre-study materials prior to attendance.
4.3 The Provider accepts no responsibility for missed content due to lateness or absence.
4.4 The Provider reserves the right to refuse continuation on the Course if the Student is unfit to participate, disruptive, or in breach of safety requirements. No refund shall be issued in such circumstances.

5. Lateness & No-Show Policy

5.1 If the Student is more than 30 minutes late to any training day without prior agreement, the £200 Deposit shall be forfeited.
5.2 A no-show on any training day shall result in the £200 Deposit being forfeited.

Continuing After Lateness Or No-Show

5.3 Where the Deposit is forfeited under clause 5.1 or 5.2, the Student must pay a new £200 Deposit in order to continue or reschedule any remaining training days.
5.4 Rescheduling of missed training days is subject to trainer availability and is not guaranteed.

6. Certification

6.1 Certification is awarded only upon completion of all training days and successful submission of required 6 case studies.
6.2 The Provider reserves the right to withhold certification if the Student fails to meet the required standards of competence, safety, or professionalism.
6.3 Additional training sessions, where required, may incur additional fees.

7. Exceptional Circumstances Policy

7.1 The Provider may, at its absolute discretion, consider:
(a) A partial refund, or
(b) Rescheduling of remaining training days
in cases of genuine exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to:
      • serious illness,
      • hospitalisation,
      • bereavement of an immediate family member.
7.2 The Student must provide official written evidence, such as:
      • a medical letter,
      • hospital documentation,
      • bereavement certificate.
7.3 The Provider is under no obligation to grant a refund or reschedule training under this clause. Consideration is discretionary and not guaranteed.

8. Model Work

8.1 The Student may perform SMP procedures on live models under supervision.
8.2 While the Provider will make reasonable efforts to arrange models, the Student may be required to provide their own.
8.3 The Provider accepts no liability for results or complications arising from treatment performed by the Student.

9. Equipment & Materials

9.1 Course kits will be provided as advertised.
9.2 During the Course, the Student will have access to a range of SMP machines, needle cartridges and equipment.
9.3 The Provider assumes no responsibility for equipment used by the Student outside the training environment.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 All training materials, manuals, images, videos, and lectures remain the exclusive property of the Provider.
10.2 The Student may not reproduce or distribute any training materials, nor use them to create their own training courses without written permission.
10.3 Breach of this clause may result in legal action.

11. Conduct & Professional Behaviour

11.1 The Student must act respectfully and professionally at all times.
11.2 Abusive, disruptive, unsafe, or unprofessional behaviour may result in removal from the Course without refund.
11.3 The Provider’s decision on conduct-related matters is final.

12. Limitation Of Liability

12.1 The Provider shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expenses incurred during or after the Course.
12.2 The Provider does not guarantee employment, income, or business success following training.
12.3 SMP results vary and depend on skill, skin type, client aftercare, and other factors.

13. Media & Recordings

13.1 Training sessions may be filmed, photographed, or recorded by the Provider for educational or marketing purposes.
13.2 By attending the Course, the Student grants permission for such use unless they opt out in writing.
13.3 Students may take photos for learning purposes but may not film or record sessions without written consent.

14. Data Protection

14.1 Personal data shall be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
14.2 Data will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or where necessary for finance or regulatory purposes.

15. Governing Law

15.1 These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales.
15.2 Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
